Something I love...Saves Time and Money

Everyone who knows me knows that I am in love with my slowcooker. That's a no brainer. I do not have time to spend in the kitchen these days; even less than before. What with a 7 year old in scouts and theater rehearsal most nights, creating meals can sometimes be a big pain in the rear end. Does this sound even a little familiar to you? I'm sure you can just omit the scouts and play rehearsal and add whatever activity your family has you off to every night.

So, naturally, my slowcooker is a 'go-to' appliance in my home. But, I have found another way of cooking good stuff for my family that works great and saves time and money...woo hoo! Once a Month Cooking...yep...once a month. Get it all done and in the freezer and all you have to do during the week is heat up the dinner. I wondered about that, but once I did it, I was so excited with the thought of my results.

Here's a little excerpt from the gal's site:

This cookbook isn't for the gourmet chef who enjoys cooking with expensive and unique ingredients - it's for the rest of us. It's for the average cook who wants to prepare meals the whole family will enjoy. It's for those of use who like to cook with simple ingredients we can buy at our local grocery store, or already have on hand in our pantry. It is for those of us who like trouble-free meals that are easy to make and taste delicious.

So join me in the wonderful world of once a month cooking. Fill your freezer with delicious dinners that will simplify your life. You work hard, and deserve to have some free time to enjoy yourself. And you won't be alone!

There are also tons of testimonials from other happy users.

Go take a look at the site and see what you think. It's very affordable, nothing to join, just buy the cookbook, no on-going fees or memberships. I highly recommend!
